Raksha Bandhan and Friendship Day πŸ˜ŠπŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Hello my friends, so how are you ..All good like always?? So all of you know that today is friendship day so Happy Friendship day ...So how are you celebrating this friendship day without your friends? ya ya of course this time on friendship day we will be  celebrating without our friends because though lockdown has been lifted still we have to be careful and maintain social distance. This friendship day is a bit sad for me because this time I can't celebrate it with my friends ..

Last year me and my friends had organised a party on friendship day and we had enjoyed a lot  but unfortunately no party this year 😞....However there's still hope as Rakshabandhan is just around the corner.Yes, it's on Monday August 3. Again ,we have  to celebrate rakshabandhan in our houses only and if u want to tie rakhi to your brother so you can do so on video call 😁😁That is bit funny.Isnt it??

Friends  this time I haven't made any drawings to mark  both these important occasions but instead have made rakhis and friendship bands for my brothers and friends as you can see in the picture accompanying the blog. One of the rakhi s is made up of thread and one is made up of matchsticks.
And friendship bands are made up of foam sheet. Now let me  tell you how to make rakhis...

                                    Thread Rakhi
1.Cut a round 2 cm piece of carboard.
2.Now,cut another 1cm circle within this bigger circle so that a donut is formed.
4. Now take thread of any colour and weave it around the donut , covering the entire circle/donut with thread.
5.Now add some big flower  in the centre  and decorate it with some stickers .
6.Take a ribbon or golden thread and stick this flower in the centre.
7.Your rakhi is readyπŸ™‚

                           Matchstick Rakhi
1. Take 30 match sticks
2.Assemble them on paper like in the image
3.In one petal 5 matchsticks will be used.
4.take a round piece of card paper big enough to hold the petals.
4.Now glue all petals on this piece of cardboard giving them shape of a flower.
5.Next, place a sticker in centre.
6.Voila! Your matchstick rakhi is ready!

                              Friendship Bands

1.Cut a strip of foam sheet according to your friend's hand  size .
2. Make a hook in the band on one end.
3. On other end  draw a mini square and cut, making a loop.
4.Now place an emoji sticker in the center of      the band.
5. Friendship band is ready.
6.  You can also write your friend's name in          the band if you want😊😊

Well guys as today is friendship day I would like to share a quote related to friendship ;  so here it is.....

Canvas Painting πŸ–Œ️

Hey friends ..Happy weekend. . ...So what's your plan for weekend??? Weekend is for spending time with your friends and family but during this lock down( Saturdays and Sundays , we still have complete lockdown in Ghaziabad)we can't meet our friends so we  enjoy weekend with our lovely family...On weekend since I don't have to study so I spend most of my time with my father ....So what is your plan for today ..Well I will play with my father and make paintings or will do some craft work.I am learning cross stitch these days and so I am going to make something with it ,this weekend.During this lockdown people are trying new things or pursuing their hobbies like - singing , cooking , dancing , writing poetries ,drawing etc. So I also do that.I love drawing and painting.Hours pass by swiftly when I am drawing or painting.Earlier I used to make drawings in drawing book .I also tried my hand at pencil sketching. Now, it was time for me to try canvas painting. And yay !  I did exactly that....Made a canvas painting, not one but two!

I asked my father to bring small canvas from market on the day when it was open.He went and brought a small canvas. Then I made the painting.Since this was  my first time on canvas , I didn't want  to spoil it so I took my father's help..
Okay , coming back to my painting ,I ,first painted the  background in shades of blue and green. Then, I painted some grass and pink and white flowers. Then I waited for it to dry and painted some honey bees and  buds.Within no time painting was complete !  I was very excited because this was my first canvas painting . I enjoyed canvas painting so much that I made another one which is of birds as you can see in the picture above.

Hope you guys like my paintings and pursue your hobbies too.

That's all for this blog so

My Beautiful Terrace Garden

Hi friends.... How are you? Hope all doing  good 😊 Well guys, markets, restaurants and  malls have opened up in most places in Delhi but in Vaishali  markets are opening only on Tuesdays , Thursdays and Saturdays(TTS) .So are you guys going out ??? Well I went out on a Tuesday for some grocery shopping with  my parents. It was after three months that I had gone out but it was only once. Now again I am not going out.I sometime get frustrated of sitting at home but I know we are safer at home than outside. So I am not going out anywhere. When I went out I took all precautions like wearing a face mask and after coming home I washed and santized my hands ... ok guys now let's give a break ,talking about this. We will continue it some other time.
Okay so tell me from where do  we get oxygen? Yes, ofcourse from plants. However human beings for their needs not only cut down trees but also burn down forests.Deforestation has become a big problem of our times and it's one of the major causes of global warming.Friends, instead of cutting trees we should plant tress. For cutting down one tree we must plant ten trees and take care of them. And I do exactly that. I help my father in gardening. My father loves garderning and keeps bringing in new plants now and then.

Now let me tell you all how I help my father in garderning .

Friends, like we can't live without food, water and oxygen..  plants also need water , air and sunlight to survive.During winters my father brought a small plant of Dhalia . It bore a big pink coloured flower that you can see in the given picture. Dhalia like most plants is a seasonal plant and on brink of summer this beautiful plant dried up.
We had also sown seeds of nine o clock and its blooming  in summers too. Every day it produces  5-6 flowers which me and my father enjoy watching. We are also trying to grow bitter gourd . Let's see if the plant produces the veggie or not😊You guys must be knowing  that bitter gourd is a climber. It has  climbed all over our balcony wall as  you can see in the picture collage at the top of the blog.We have planted marigold ( genda)also and it produced some good big flowers.
Every evening I water my plants with my dad .I enjoy my little terrace garden a lot and trying to make and keep it greener.😊

Okay friends that's all for this blog

Hope you guys also grow plants and take care of them daily. Plants save us and  our enviorment
