Ganpati Bappa Morya !!!!

Hello  friends, Welcome back to yet another blog of mine.... Firstly, I wish you all a Very Very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi  ....Friends,all of us know that ganesh chaturthi is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm mostly in Maharashtra .However now it's celebrated all over India with same fervour and devotion .So keeping in with tradition, me and my family also celebrate it with lot of enthusiasm.Infact my mom tells me that they started celebrating this festival only after my arrival 🙂When I was young, my mom, in an attempt to keep me busy and tell me about this festival made me make ganeshji with clay.Once clay ganeshji was ready my father put up decoration for Him.Now,it has become a tradition in our house to make ganeshji with clay every year.Yes, we make ganeshji at home rather than bringing them from market. Every Single Year🙂
So friends, I have made a ganesha idol with clay this year too. After moulding clay into ganesha,  I painted it and then added some jewellery using some stone stickers, gota and other decorations. After ganeshji was ready me and my mom set up the backdrop for his mandap and then my dad fixed the lights. And ta da our ganesh mandap is ready. Then, we formally welcomed ganeshji with ganesha aarti and bhog.
Friends, do you know how people came to celebrate ganesh chaturthi on a large scale?Well, I am sure many of you must be knowing it already still I felt it important to share this information here.It was during India's struggle for independence that Bal Gangadhar Tilak,a famous freedom fighter started ganesh chaturthi on a large scale.Britishers had ruled out restrictions on large gatherings in order to discourage any attempt  for people to unite and conspire against them.So to thwart the efforts of Britishers , Tilak called for ganesh chaturthi celebrations outside of houses and into pandal ,so that people can come together in large groups and unite and make decisions for uprooting Britishers from our country.

Well, with this we come to the end of this blog.Hope you all also welcomed ganpati ji at your home and and enjoyed modaks and ladoos😉😉

So bye bye till my other blog

💐💐**HAPPY GANESH CHATURTHI**💐💐

Happy Janmashtmi to all my dear readers. So one more Indian festival is here guys, Oh!Pardon me, not one but we are celebrating two Indian festivals this week friends. As you know today is janmashtami and on 15 th August  is our Independence Day,which is our national festival.
Janmashtami is celebrated because Lord Krishna was  born on this day at midnight. As he was born on midnight so every year we celebrate janmashtami at midnight i.e.12 am .We make "jhoola" for lord Krishna and  decorate it every year. It's very exciting for me to celebrate janmastmi because this is the only puja which is celebrated at midnight.
Some people also showcase beautiful tableauxs in their houses, depicting scenes from Lord Krishna's life.
This August is full of festivals.First we celebrated rakshabandhan  on 3rd August and now we are celebrating janmashtami then we'll celebrate Independence Day on15th August and  then Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on 22 August.

Ever year I went to temples near my house to see tableaux displayed on janmashtami but this year I won't be able to do so and you know the reason  ....But ya we can celebrate it in our homes . As for Independence Day we always hoist National Flag in our balcony every year.So this year also we will do so but this year we won't be able to fly kites like every year.Nonetheless, I am determined to make both this festivals enjoyable by spending good time with my family.

Friends , you can see some of my art and craft work related to Janmashtami and Independence Day in the picture above.I decorated a swing for Lord Krishna and made a sketch of Subhash Chandra Bose along with an Independence Day drawing.

As I bow my head to rever  Lord Krishna today, I also salute the armed forces, police and doctors this independence day who are working for our safety in current situation of corona virus.
