Raksha Bandhan and Friendship Day πŸ˜ŠπŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Hello my friends, so how are you ..All good like always?? So all of you know that today is friendship day so Happy Friendship day ...So how are you celebrating this friendship day without your friends? ya ya of course this time on friendship day we will be  celebrating without our friends because though lockdown has been lifted still we have to be careful and maintain social distance. This friendship day is a bit sad for me because this time I can't celebrate it with my friends ..

Last year me and my friends had organised a party on friendship day and we had enjoyed a lot  but unfortunately no party this year 😞....However there's still hope as Rakshabandhan is just around the corner.Yes, it's on Monday August 3. Again ,we have  to celebrate rakshabandhan in our houses only and if u want to tie rakhi to your brother so you can do so on video call 😁😁That is bit funny.Isnt it??

Friends  this time I haven't made any drawings to mark  both these important occasions but instead have made rakhis and friendship bands for my brothers and friends as you can see in the picture accompanying the blog. One of the rakhi s is made up of thread and one is made up of matchsticks.
And friendship bands are made up of foam sheet. Now let me  tell you how to make rakhis...

                                    Thread Rakhi
1.Cut a round 2 cm piece of carboard.
2.Now,cut another 1cm circle within this bigger circle so that a donut is formed.
4. Now take thread of any colour and weave it around the donut , covering the entire circle/donut with thread.
5.Now add some big flower  in the centre  and decorate it with some stickers .
6.Take a ribbon or golden thread and stick this flower in the centre.
7.Your rakhi is readyπŸ™‚

                           Matchstick Rakhi
1. Take 30 match sticks
2.Assemble them on paper like in the image
3.In one petal 5 matchsticks will be used.
4.take a round piece of card paper big enough to hold the petals.
4.Now glue all petals on this piece of cardboard giving them shape of a flower.
5.Next, place a sticker in centre.
6.Voila! Your matchstick rakhi is ready!

                              Friendship Bands

1.Cut a strip of foam sheet according to your friend's hand  size .
2. Make a hook in the band on one end.
3. On other end  draw a mini square and cut, making a loop.
4.Now place an emoji sticker in the center of      the band.
5. Friendship band is ready.
6.  You can also write your friend's name in          the band if you want😊😊

Well guys as today is friendship day I would like to share a quote related to friendship ;  so here it is.....

Friendship is just like an onion
It has many layers and if you
Try to cut it you will get tears

This a true example of true friendship between friends

One fun fact -------  2 friends
                            +     2 gether
                                   ________
                                   4 ever πŸ€—πŸ€—
